In 1998, The Husband and I graduated from college.

In 2000, The Husband graduated with his Master’s degree.

In 2003, we got married and I earned my Ph.D.

In July of 2005, we bought a house.

The following November, we bought a living room rug. As we paid for it, The Husband said, “Wow, this really makes me feel like a grown-up.”
